The Honest company does not have much public information about their environmental practices. Some of the material in their diapers is sustainably harvested, but that is about it. As much as we searched, we could only find information about their other products. We saw that The Honest Company was monitoring their CO2 levels but didn't disclose their progress. We also did not see how they use energy, water and we did not find any 3rd party certifications for the diapers. The Honest Company receives an F for the Environmental Pillar of The Conscious Score.

Human Rights

The Honest Company has donated 3.5 million diapers and other items to the community, have a goal to donate 10 million more products by the end of 2022, and have donated over $350,000 over the past two years to over 6 million moms. They also have a policy that is required by the State of California to transparently tell consumers how they are eradicating slavery and human trafficking from their supply chain. The Honest Company is a cruelty-free brand. They do not test on animals during product development or production or allow any third parties to do so with their products. According to parents, they like the quality, it's great for babies with sensitive skin, it doesn't leak, and it has great designs.
