Cellulose (TCF fluff) — the fibers obtained from plant-based materials that create a soft filling, or fluff; our diapers and training pants use fluff that is TCF—totally chlorine-free.

Elastane — a polyurethane material that is elastic for a snug—but comfortable—fit.
P
Polyacrylate (SAP) — a superabsorbent polymer with the ability to absorb as much as 300 times its mass in liquid.
Polyethylene (PE) — the most commonly used plastic in production globally; ours however, is made with biodegradable raw materials from renewable resources rather than petroleum or natural gas.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET/Co-PET) — a thermoplastic polymer that serves as a high-performing moisture barrier.

Supply Chain
All Bambo Nature products are produced and sourced in a responsible manner; from raw materials to product development. They take pride in supplying products of a high quality while meeting the strict standards for sustainability in the market and making sure their effort is well-documented. They continuously test our assortment in our in-house laboratory, by 3rd party labs and via multiple certification organizations. In that way, they can account for our supply chain and you can do the same.
Environment
Everyone talks about the environment, but Bambo Nature has made it their mission to walk the walk. To help minimize impacts on the environment, Abena, the manufacturer of Bambo Nature products, voluntarily undergoes strict, rigorous environmental inspections of our products from raw material collection to production, consumption and waste - so you can shop with us with a clean conscience.
Each year they report the results of their work with social and environmental responsibility with the United Nation’s Global Compact (UNGC) and the Foreign Trade Association’s Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI).
Human Rights
Bambo Nature has high social responsibility standards for both their organization and their suppliers. Their goal is to be a fair and inclusive workplace. We support a range of initiatives to secure the working environment for our employees as well as our customers and suppliers.
Our Code of Conduct is based on the 10 principles of the United Nation’s Global Compact.
We are SMETA certified and comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Labour Organization conventions.
We endorse and apply the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct.
ABENA Production is also certified according to the SA8000 standard – Social Accountability International (SAI)
They care about all of the workers who are involved in the manufacturing process in all of the steps in developing the products. Not only at their own production site but on all the production sites from where they source the raw material. Therefore, all of their sub-suppliers have given guarantee that they live up to the requirements in the SA8000.
Animal Rights
Abena and Bambo Nature never test on animals and no animal products are used in their products.
Packaging
Their packaging and boxes are recyclable. The diaper bags consist of 30% post-consumer recycled raw materials meaning that less virgin plastic is needed in manufacturing. The recycled materials originates from consumer household plastic-waste that is carefully cleaned and sorted by grade. The bag should be recycled with other plastic waste.
The packaging on the Overnight Diaper are 100% compostable and made with no plastic.
The boxes are FSC™-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) and are produced with a minimum of 50% recycled material.
